Tupac – Keep ya head up (lyrics)

Tupac - Keep ya head up (lyrics)
( I made one mistake with the lyrics. The lyrics say 1.35 a young mother to be unhappy, but it’s a young mother to be a pappy) – Keep Ya Head Up” is a song by Tupac Shakur. It addresses issues concerning lack of respect toward the female gender, especially poor black women. It has a very positive message and is often used as an example of Shakur’s softer side. Many consider it to be one of the deepest rap songs ever made and is often referenced by other artists in their work, building Shakur’s persona as a very conscious and influential rapper

Rugrats Unaired Pilot Episode “Tommy Pickles and the Great White Thing”.

by

Rugrats Unaired Pilot Episode
This is the unaired pilot episode of Rugrats that Klasky/Csupo showed to Nick in early 1990. The voice actress (Tami Holbrook) for Tommy is different than in the main series (Elizabeth Daily). Parts of it were used as bumpers throughout the Golden Age of Nickelodeon and a few scenes were partly reused, however it was never aired in its full state as presented in this video. This video falls under Fair Use 17 USC § 107 for educational purposes. 17 USC § 107 Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 17 USC § 106 and 17 USC § 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include: the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes; the nature of the copyrighted work; the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work. The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.

Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) - (1 of 10)
from Playlist : Arcade Fire – Funeral (full CD) www.youtube.com lyrics: And if the snow buries my, my neighbourhood. And if my parents are crying then I’ll dig a tunnel from my window to yours, yeah a tunnel from my window to yours. You climb out the chimney and meet me in the middle, the middle of the town. And since there’s no one else around, we let our hair grow long and forget all we used to know, then our skin gets thicker from living out in the snow. You change all the lead sleepin’ in my head, as the day grows dim I hear you sing a golden hymn. Then we tried to name our babies, but we forgot all the names that, the names we used to know. But sometimes, we remember our bedrooms, and our parent’s bedrooms, and the bedrooms of our friends. Then we think of our parents, well what the hell ever happened to them?! You change all the lead sleepin’ in my head to gold, as the day grows dim, I hear you sing a golden hymn, the song I’ve been trying to sing. Purify the colours, purify my mind. Purify the colours, purify my mind, and spread the ashes of the colours Over this heart of mine!

This Is My Destiny

This Is My Destiny
In Afghanistan an epidemic of drug addiction has seeped into every nook of society. This is the story of a place where opium has become so commonplace it is used to calm babies. Riz Khan - Falluja's birth defects
On this episode of the Riz Khan show we ask if US weapons are behind the sharp rise in birth defects in Falluja. Residents of the Iraqi city blame the surge in chronic deformities on controversial weapons used by US forces against Sunni fighters in 2004. But the US military has dismissed those allegations.
