Beautiful meditative scenes of Kauai’s rugged shoreline out to Mahalepu in HD. The music is a song called Reflections from my instrumental album Sounds of Kauai (Available at Amazon, CDbaby, and iTunes). I came across this tidepool during a hike. While the sun illuminated the boulders on one side, the other side shaded the pool, which allowed the lighted rocks to reflect on its surface. Every now and then a bigger set of waves would come through, sending ripples through the pool and blurring the mirrored surface. Slowly the reflections refocus, making the spot one of my favorites. A song from the 5th album of Kings of Leon called Pyro. I thought the song stood out, and a lot of people were struggling for the right lyrics apparently, so I gave it a go.
